Shocking CCTV Footage Captures Violent Offender’s Savagery Outside Pub

Hucknall, England – Footage captured on CCTV revealing the harrowing moment a violent offender, Tyrone James, prepared to stab a man outside a pub has been released. The incident, which occurred in Kirkby-in-Ashfield, left the victim with life-altering injuries after James inflicted a series of stab wounds to his torso and back. James, 41, was later sentenced for the attack, which followed a physical altercation outside the same pub where he punched another man in the face.

The CCTV footage documented James leaving the pub after the initial punch, only to return wearing different clothes and concealing a knife in his waistband. Moments later, he attacked the victim, driving away from the scene following the violent assault. Police were able to identify and track down James through meticulous examination of CCTV footage and the use of Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology, linking him to the location of the attack at the time it occurred.

Investigations revealed that James had been at various pubs in the Kirkby area that night, where he was heard making threatening remarks to others. Despite leaving the area initially, he returned shortly after, equipped with a knife and a balaclava. The footage captured James assaulting the victim and fleeing the scene, ultimately leading to his arrest and subsequent charges.

Appearing before Leicester Crown Court for sentencing, James pleaded guilty to committing grievous bodily harm with intent, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, and assault. The court sentenced him to eight years in prison for his violent actions. Detective Inspector James Oakton of Nottinghamshire Police described the attack as savage, highlighting the severe impact it had on the victim and emphasizing the consequences of James’ decisions that night.
