Semi-Truck Accident Results in Amputation

DALLAS, TX – A trucking company owner in Dallas is striving to defend his business after a crash involving his 18-wheeler left another driver with life-altering injuries. The police are appealing for public assistance to identify the truck involved in the collision.

Carlos Campos, a 26-year-old local resident, was driving home when his SUV was hit by the 18-wheeler, resulting in the loss of part of his arm. Campos accuses the truck driver of causing the accident and fleeing the scene.

In response, the truck owner, who prefers to stay anonymous for safety reasons, contacted media outlets to present his evidence. He shared surveillance footage from a nearby establishment, claiming it supports his driver’s innocence.

The video allegedly depicts the 18-wheeler traveling at a moderate pace in the middle lane, while Campos’ SUV rapidly approaches from behind, leading to the collision. The truck owner argues that the driver was oblivious to the crash due to the heavy cargo.

Campos, however, insists the truck was at fault. The truck owner has been cooperative with the police, allowing them to inspect the vehicle. Investigators reportedly discovered paint from Campos’ SUV on the trailer.

The incident has captivated public interest, with both sides sticking to their stories. Dallas police are reviewing the footage as part of their ongoing investigation and are seeking additional information from the community.

The truck owner is hopeful that the evidence will exonerate his company and reduce the threats he’s been receiving since the crash.
