Newly Released Indictment Reveals Dates and Details of Three Women’s Murders

Portland, Oregon – A man has been indicted for the murders of three women, shedding light on the chilling details surrounding their deaths and the disposal of their bodies.

Jesse Lee Calhoun faces charges of second-degree murder in the deaths of Charity Lynn Perry, JoAnna Speaks, and Bridget LeAnne Webster. Additionally, he is charged with three counts of second-degree abuse of a corpse.

According to the indictment, Calhoun allegedly killed Perry on March 8, 2023. Her body was discovered nearly seven weeks later near Ainsworth State Park. Perry’s mother, Diana Allen, revealed that her daughter had struggled with mental health and addiction, emphasizing the pain she feels upon learning the circumstances of her death.

Speaks was the next victim, allegedly killed by Calhoun on March 18, 2023. Her body was found three weeks later with signs of blunt force trauma. Unlike the other victims, the cause of Speaks’ death has been revealed through autopsy results.

The indictment claims that Webster was killed on April 26, 2023, with her body located four days later in Polk County. Authorities are also investigating the deaths of two other women that may be connected to Calhoun, Kristin Smith and Ashley Real.

Calhoun is awaiting transport to Multnomah County for arraignment, as he is currently serving time at Snake River Correctional Institution for a parole violation. The investigation into the deaths of these women continues, with prosecutors urging anyone with information to come forward.
