BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. – Real estate mogul Mauricio Umansky of “Buying Beverly Hills” fame paid tribute to his coworker Christian Oliver following the tragic deaths of Oliver and his two daughters in a plane crash. Umansky, who owns The Agency, a global real estate brokerage, expressed his condolences on Instagram, calling Oliver a great friend, father, husband, and talent agent. Umansky included an audio snippet of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” in his post, a gesture to honor Oliver’s memory.

Oliver, a German actor known for his role in “Speed Racer,” died at the age of 51 in a fatal plane crash in the Caribbean. He was traveling with his daughters, Madita and Annik, when the plane experienced engine trouble and crashed into the ocean. The aircraft’s pilot also perished in the accident.
