Man from San Bernardino County Arrested for Kidnapping, Assault, and Robbery in Violent Attack on Female Victim

San Bernardino County authorities have arrested a 24-year-old man from Chino Hills on charges of kidnapping, assault, and robbery following a violent incident involving a female victim. The altercation between the suspect, identified as Robert Michael Lockwood-Stinson, and the victim turned physical on May 7, resulting in significant injuries to the woman, according to a news release from the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department.

During the altercation, Lockwood-Stinson allegedly took the victim’s phone, wallet, and cellphone before she managed to escape. However, he later located her in Chino Hills and forced her into his vehicle at around 9 a.m. that same day. Despite her attempts to flee, Lockwood-Stinson physically restrained her, threatening further harm if she tried to escape. He then drove her to her residence.

Following the incident, the victim reported the ordeal to deputies at the Chino Hills Police Station. Investigators subsequently obtained an arrest warrant for Lockwood-Stinson, who was apprehended near his residence on May 8 and booked at the West Valley Detention Center.
