Man Arrested for Fatally Shooting Teen at Belcamp McDonald’s

Belcamp, Maryland – A tragic incident unfolded at a McDonald’s in Belcamp, resulting in the fatal shooting of 19-year-old Sebashton Nocar. According to the Harford County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting occurred on Tuesday night, prompting deputies to respond to the scene on Riverside Parkway.

Upon arrival, deputies found Nocar inside the restaurant with a gunshot wound to the head. Despite their efforts to save him, Nocar succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The suspected shooter, 32-year-old Djbril Ramatoulay, was identified by authorities as the perpetrator responsible for Nocar’s death.

Sheriff Jeff Gahler revealed that the tragic incident stemmed from an altercation that escalated inside the restaurant. Both the victim and the shooter had previously worked at the McDonald’s, adding a layer of complexity to the situation. Records indicated that Ramatoulay was on probation for assault at the time of the shooting, facing potential prison time for the offense.

In response to the violence, deputies obtained an arrest warrant for Ramatoulay, leading to his arrest without incident. As the community reels from the shocking event, residents expressed disbelief and concern over the shooting that took place in a familiar establishment.

Steve Arbaugh, who knew Nocar as his bus aide during high school, described the victim as a respectful and well-behaved individual. The Sheriff’s Office urged anyone with information or video footage of the incident to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation led by Detective P. Ross of the Criminal Investigations Division.
