Hollywood Special FX Makeup Artist Survives Vicious Stabbing Attack and Shows Remarkable Resilience

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA – A Hollywood makeup artist and special effects producer, renowned for her work on various feature films, including “Rebel Moon,” “Mean Girls,” and “Babylon,” is currently undergoing a slow but steady recovery after a brutal attack that saw her being viciously stabbed over 20 times earlier this month.

Friends of 35-year-old Allie Shehorn have reported that she has shown incredible resilience, undergoing three surgeries in the past three days, and maintaining a positive attitude despite the harrowing ordeal. The makeup artist, who was attacked by her ex-boyfriend – against whom she had recently filed a restraining order – is said to be making progress physically and emotionally.

The violent incident occurred on May 23rd when Shehorn’s ex-partner allegedly broke into her Shadow Hills residence, inflicted multiple stab wounds on her, and fled the scene. Christine White, described as Shehorn’s surrogate mother, expressed shock and disbelief at the horrific attack and emphasized the rarity of such events.

Recounting the night of the assault, White disclosed the gruesome scene she encountered and the extent of Shehorn’s injuries, including severe cuts to her neck, arms, and abdomen. Despite the traumatic experience, friends note that Shehorn’s recovery has been remarkable, with her ability to engage in conversation, eat, and even share moments of humor.

Emily MacDonald, another close friend of Shehorn, mentioned that while the road to recovery may be long, the makeup artist’s humor and strength of character are guiding her through the challenging journey. Shehorn’s companions have rallied around her in the hospital’s intensive care unit, where she continues to undergo surgeries to address her injuries, including tendon repairs in her hands.

Authorities from the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that the alleged perpetrator fled the state following the assault but was later apprehended in Texas. In support of Shehorn’s mounting medical expenses, a GoFundMe campaign has been launched to provide assistance to the artist during her recovery journey.
