Gunman Charged with Murder of Houston Attorney at McDonald’s Sparks Outrage and Manhunt

Houston, Texas – A 57-year-old man with a history of criminal charges is being sought by authorities after allegedly shooting and killing a Houston attorney over a dispute regarding a McDonald’s order. The suspect, Anthony Martin Landry, faces a murder charge in connection to the death of Jeffrey Limmer, who was fatally shot inside the fast food restaurant on May 4.

According to reports, Landry became irate over his order at the McDonald’s located on West Interstate Highway 10 service road. When Limmer intervened and tried to calm Landry down, a physical altercation ensued in the parking lot, resulting in the attorney being shot multiple times by Landry, who then fled the scene in a blue Ford pickup truck.

Limmer, who tragically lost his life in the incident, was known for his efforts to de-escalate conflicts and stand up for justice. His family expressed relief that the suspect had been identified and urged for his swift apprehension to prevent harm to others.

Described as a lover of music and the outdoors, Limmer leaves behind not only his family but also his beloved companion, Lola, a bulldog he rescued in 2020. He was a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and worked as an associate at a Houston law firm.

It has been revealed that at the time of the shooting, Landry was out on bond for a prior felony aggravated assault charge. This background sheds light on the suspect’s violent past and raises concerns about public safety until he is captured and brought to justice.
