LOWELL, Mass. (AP) — A woman in Lowell, Massachusetts is facing charges after a disturbing video surfaced of her kicking a small dog on Westford Street on Friday, December 29th, according to sources. The dog is said to belong to the woman and her partner.
The graphic video shows the woman kicking the dog multiple times before the frightened pet runs off, leaving neighbors like Ann Isler sick to their stomachs. In a second video, the woman is seen grabbing the dog by the collar and flinging it, causing outrage in the close-knit neighborhood.
The animal is now in the custody of animal control, providing some relief to concerned neighbors. The woman in the video is in custody and is facing charges, according to sources. Police and animal control have not yet responded to inquiries.
