According to a recent report by the Worcestershire Safeguarding Children Partnership, a total of 64 calls were made to authorities with concerns for Alfie’s well-being before his tragic death in 2021.
Alfie’s grandmother, Alaina Scott, revealed that numerous individuals, including friends, family, neighbors, and school staff, had raised alarms about the aggressive and threatening behavior of the person who ultimately took the innocent boy’s life. In an effort to protect Alfie, these individuals took great risks, speaking out despite facing intimidation and threats from the killer, Dirk Howell.
In the harrowing series of events leading to Alfie’s demise, it was revealed that over 50 injuries were found on his body before his passing. His mother, Carla Scott, and her partner, Howell, were ultimately held responsible for his tragic death. Shockingly, it was also reported that there had been a total of 36 contacts with Worcestershire County Council and 28 contacts with the West Mercia Police by concerned individuals regarding Alfie’s welfare between 2018 and 2020.
