The Bronx, New York – Police are actively seeking out a group of four men allegedly responsible for a violent incident at a Golden Krust restaurant in Allerton. The attack occurred on Valentine’s Day around 5 p.m., escalating from an argument between two individuals to a four-on-one assault.
According to law enforcement officials, witnesses identified the victim as a 28-year-old individual who appeared to be an Amazon delivery driver. Authorities have released a photograph of the suspected ringleader of the assailants they are looking for in connection to the incident.
The NYPD reported that the four suspects stole the victim’s backpack during the altercation and then fled the scene in two separate vehicles – a grey sedan and a black SUV. The stolen backpack contained the victim’s personal electronics and clothing.
Thankfully, the victim sustained minor injuries and is expected to recover. However, the community remains shaken by the violent incident. Customer Allan Ricketts expressed his shock and dismay, stating, “For this to happen here, it’s not right, for the customers, for the people who own this place. Not over food. It’s uncalled for, it’s unnecessary. And it shouldn’t happen nowhere. We should all just get along.”
