Florida man sentenced to life in prison after shocking plot to kill girlfriend with help from his own mother

Pensacola, Florida – A 20-year-old man from Florida has been sentenced to spend the rest of his life in prison after plotting to kill his girlfriend, who he falsely accused of giving him an STD. The shocking part? His own mother was allegedly in on the plan.

Keith Agee, the young man in question, confronted his 18-year-old girlfriend at a Home Depot in Escambia County, Florida, and ended up shooting her, as well as injuring two other individuals. Agee then fled the scene, only to call 911 moments later, turning himself in to the police.

According to the arrest report, Agee claimed that he had spent an intimate weekend with his girlfriend before receiving news that he had tested positive for an STD. This news reportedly triggered his anger and led him to confront his girlfriend at her workplace.

The case took a more chilling turn when investigators discovered text messages indicating that Agee’s mother, Sheila Agee, not only knew about the murder plot, but also actively participated in coordinating it. As a result, Sheila Agee has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder, while her son has been sentenced to life in prison for premeditated first-degree murder and two counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

To make things even more bizarre, it was revealed during the trial that Agee actually did not have an STD, completely invalidating his motive for the crime.

Now, Agee’s daughter is in the custody of his girlfriend’s mother, adding a layer of tragedy and loss to this disturbing case. As the community grapples with the aftermath of this shocking crime, it serves as a stark reminder of the complex and often devastating consequences of domestic disputes turned deadly.
