Father Killed While Working Second Job as Pizza Delivery Driver in West Palm Beach Robbery Attempt

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – A tragic incident in West Palm Beach, Florida resulted in the death of a father who had taken on a second job as a pizza delivery driver to support his children. According to authorities, the man, identified as Tommie Anderson III, was the victim of an alleged robbery attempt while on the job.

The West Palm Beach Police Department reported that the incident occurred just before 1 p.m. on Tuesday when Anderson, 33, had delivered a pizza to a home in the central Palm Beach area. It is alleged that three individuals approached him and shot him while attempting to rob him.

When police arrived at the scene, Anderson was found bleeding from gunshot wounds and was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Surveillance footage captured the three suspects pulling up near Anderson’s car in a white Honda four-door vehicle. The suspects were later located and brought in for questioning by the Florida Highway Patrol.

The suspects, identified as Marcus T. Williams, Avianna Williams, and Elijsha Wingfield, were arrested on charges of first-degree murder with a firearm and booked into the main Palm Beach County jail.

According to the victim’s family, it was only Anderson’s second day on the job when the tragic incident occurred. They revealed that he had taken on the second job in order to support his two children.
