Houston, Texas – A tragic incident unfolded last month in the Gulfgate area, where a high-ranking Dominican official’s son was fatally shot. The suspects involved in this devastating crime are a father and his two sons, all now facing charges of murder.

The victim, identified as 34-year-old Luis Alfredo Pacheco, son of Alfredo Pacheco, President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Dominican Republic, lost his life in the shooting. The incident took place at a gas station and convenience store on South Wayside Drive, off the I-45 Gulf Freeway, where Harris County Precinct 6 deputy constables responded to a shooting call on April 1st.

Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement found two men shot, with Luis succumbing to his injuries on site. Another individual, a 29-year-old whose identity remains undisclosed, was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Reports indicate that following a visit to the convenience store, Pacheco and three other men entered a black SUV.

Suddenly, a silver Dodge Charger and a silver Mercedes Benz approached the SUV, from which two individuals exited the Dodge and one from the Mercedes. Subsequently, all three suspects opened fire on the SUV before swiftly retreating in their respective vehicles.

In a significant breakthrough, authorities recently apprehended the two Torres brothers, aged 25 and 19, in Houston. Their father, Hernan Torres, Sr., is currently detained in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on unrelated charges. Plans are underway for his extradition back to Harris County to face the murder charges.
