Falls Women Plead Guilty in Connection with Vicious Tim Hortons Attack

Niagara Falls, New York – Two women from Niagara Falls have pleaded guilty to charges related to a violent attack on a female manager at a Tim Hortons restaurant. Brittny Robinson, 37, and Brionna Harris, 30, admitted to attempted second-degree burglary as part of a plea deal with Niagara County prosecutors. The crime took place on Pine Avenue and Hyde Park Boulevard last year.

The guilty plea came after the women were initially charged with second-degree gang assault, which could have led to a 15-year prison sentence. Judge Caroline Wojtaszek informed the women that they could face a maximum of two years behind bars or possibly probation. The incident involved the two women entering a restricted area of the restaurant to assault the manager.

Both Robinson and Harris were identified through a cell phone video captured during the attack on the 42-year-old coffee shop manager. The footage, which circulated widely on social media, played a crucial role in their arrest. The video evidence, along with security camera footage from inside the restaurant, helped investigators build a strong case against the assailants.

Authorities stated that the attack occurred after the manager asked a group of disruptive juveniles to leave the establishment. One of the juveniles, feeling disrespected, later returned with Robinson and Harris to confront the manager. The video showed the suspects entering the restaurant and assaulting the victim, leaving her with serious injuries.

While the 13-year-old involved in the incident was also charged with second-degree gang assault, details about her case were not immediately disclosed. The victim, who was hospitalized following the attack, is said to be in the process of healing. The prosecutor handling the case emphasized that the burglary charge was pursued based on the compelling evidence available.

The investigation highlighted the importance of video footage in documenting and prosecuting violent crimes. Falls Police Superintendent John Faso commended the detectives for their work in bringing the perpetrators to justice. The community has expressed shock and concern over the brutal nature of the attack, underscoring the need for accountability and justice in such cases.
