Explosion at Bengaluru Cafe Leaves Four Injured, Bomb Squad Investigates

Bengaluru, India – An explosion at a cafe in Bengaluru’s Kundalahalli has left four people injured, sparking an investigation by local authorities. The incident, which occurred at The Rameshwaram Cafe, a well-known eatery in the area, has prompted the deployment of a team from the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to the scene.

According to police reports, three of the injured individuals are employees of the cafe, while the fourth victim is a customer. The cause of the explosion remains unknown, and authorities have not ruled out any possibilities as they work to determine the reason behind the blast. Both a bomb squad and a forensics team have been dispatched to the cafe to gather evidence.

Initial assessments suggest that the explosion was not the result of a gas cylinder mishap, as there were no subsequent fires reported at the scene. In a candid statement on social media, Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya disclosed details from a conversation with the cafe owner, implicating a customer’s abandoned bag as the potential source of the blast.

The injured have been transported to Brookfield Hospital for medical treatment. As the investigation unfolds, residents of Bengaluru eagerly await further updates on the situation and demand transparency from local authorities regarding the circumstances surrounding the explosion.
