Elderly Woman Murder Suspect Allegedly Robs Mississippi Subway While Armed

WOODVILLE, Miss. – Authorities are on the lookout for Sammy Patrick, wanted for the murder of an elderly woman in Forest. The Scott County Sheriff’s Office reported that Patrick is also suspected of robbing a Subway in Wilkinson County while armed.

The armed robbery took place in Woodville at a Subway located off Highway 61, according to Woodville Police Chief Lemuel Rutledge. Patrick was then seen getting gas at a Shell gas station after the alleged robbery. He is driving a dark-colored Ford Ranger, which was reported stolen on Old Highway 21 and has a disabled tag with the number DBW5119. Patrick was last seen traveling north on Highway 61 towards Natchez, according to Chief Rutledge.

Multiple agencies, including the Mississippi Highway Patrol and Louisiana State Police, are actively searching for Patrick.

The suspect, Sammy Patrick, is wanted for capital murder after being accused of killing and setting an elderly woman on fire in Forest. Authorities warn the public to be on the lookout for Patrick and report any sightings or information that may lead to his capture.
