Among the items confiscated were heavy-duty metal pipes, bolt cutters, epoxy adhesive, super glue, padlocks, and heavy-duty chains. The individuals also possessed literature that promoted vandalism and violence, including a copy of “The Do-It-Yourself Occupation Guide.”
The arrest of 44 pro-Palestinian demonstrators, mostly students according to authorities, has stirred controversy at UCLA. The demonstrators argue that they were peacefully protesting, while some have accused the police of intimidation and harassment.
