Fordyce, AR ā A tragic mass shooting at a local grocery store in Fordyce, Arkansas, resulted in three fatalities and 14 injuries last Friday. Authorities have identified the suspect as 44-year-old Travis Posey, a resident of New Edinburg, approximately 79 miles south of Little Rock. Posey was apprehended later that evening and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries after being shot during his arrest by Arkansas State Police. Following his medical release, he was transported to the Ouachita County Detention Center. In connection with the shooting, he faces three counts of capital murder.
