64-Year-Old Man Violently Attacked and Robbed at Edmonton LRT Station, Suspect Sought

Edmonton, Alberta – A brutal attack and robbery took place at an Edmonton LRT station last month, leaving a 64-year-old man hospitalized with serious injuries. The incident occurred at Churchill Station around 5:30 a.m. on February 24, when the victim was confronted by another man. The Edmonton Police Service revealed that after a brief exchange, the perpetrator violently assaulted the man, causing him to fall to the ground.

Five other individuals then joined in on the attack, robbing the victim before fleeing the scene. The victim’s injuries, while serious, were fortunately deemed non-life-threatening. In response to the incident, law enforcement issued warrants for the arrest of Travis Damian Houle, 35, on charges of aggravated assault, robbery, and violation of probation orders.
