Stolen 18-Wheeler Crashes into Texas DPS Building: One Dead, Multiple Injured in Intentional Act

AUSTIN, Texas – A tragic incident unfolded in Brenham, Texas, when a stolen 18-wheeler crashed into a Texas Department of Public Safety office, resulting in one fatality and multiple severe injuries. The Texas Rangers are currently investigating the situation, with a suspect in custody identified as 42-year-old Clenard Parker. Parker, who was previously denied a renewal for his commercial driver’s license, faces charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle and evading arrest. This disturbing event involving 14 people, left six individuals hospitalized and eight others treated and released at the scene. Brenham, situated about an hour northwest of Houston and two hours east of Austin, was the unfortunate location of this intentional and criminal act, as described by Texas Senator Lois Kolkhorst on social media. Kolkhorst also mentioned that three individuals were life-flighted with critical injuries and three others were taken to local hospitals in stable condition.
