Motorcycle Memorial Ride Planned to Honor Victims of Henryetta Mass Murder

Henryetta, Oklahoma – A memorial ride is being organized in Henryetta to honor the memory of five teenagers tragically killed in a mass murder one year ago. Ivy Webster, Brittany Brewer, Rylee Allen, Tiffany Glass, and Michael Mayo lost their lives on May 1st, 2023, at the hands of convicted rapist Jesse McFadden, who also killed his wife before taking his own life.

The release of McFadden, while awaiting prosecution for a prior crime committed behind bars, sparked outrage and calls for tougher laws and sentencing for sex offenders to close any existing loopholes in the system. The victims, who suffered injuries indicating sexual assault, were part of a tragedy that deeply affected the community of Henryetta and beyond.

In response to the heartbreaking events, the Oklahoma House of Representatives recently passed House Bill 3992, also known as Knight’s Law, aiming to impose harsher penalties for multiple sex crimes, potentially leading to life imprisonment without the chance of parole. This new legislation, crafted in memory of the victims, seeks to prevent similar tragedies from occurring in the future.

United Motorcycles Against Pedophilia is taking a proactive step to remember the lives lost by hosting the first annual motorcycle memorial ride on May 5th, 2024, at Nichols Park in Henryetta. The event will serve as a tribute to the five teenagers while raising awareness about the importance of addressing and preventing violence and sexual crimes in communities nationwide.

For those interested in participating in the memorial ride, check-in will begin at 10 a.m., with the ride commencing at noon from the ball field parking lot. Riders are encouraged to pre-register for the event to show their support and be part of a meaningful gesture to honor the memory of Ivy, Brittany, Rylee, Tiffany, and Michael in a united effort against such senseless acts of violence.
