Jesus Balderas Alfaro, 31, underwent emergency surgery to reattach his ear and now bears visible scars from the violent assault on his face and skull.
The incident took place early on a Monday morning on Raleigh Street, where Alfaro heard suspicious noises outside his residence. Just weeks prior, he had fallen victim to a theft where all the tires were stolen from his car. Upon inspection, he found his windshield shattered, leading him to encounter the suspect, who quickly vanished into the shadows.
