Man Killed in NW OKC Shooting, Suspect Still At Large

Oklahoma City (OK) – A tragic shooting on NW 10th near Rockwell claimed the life of a man on Tuesday afternoon. Police officers responded to a call regarding the shooting around 1 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered a man in the middle of the road. Despite their efforts to resuscitate him, the man tragically succumbed to his injuries.

The Oklahoma City Police Department initiated an investigation into the incident, with crime scene investigators gathering evidence at the scene. The area was cordoned off with yellow tape as officers interviewed witnesses and employees at nearby establishments.

As the investigation remains in its early stages, family and friends of the victim arrived at the scene, visibly distraught by the news. The nearby Hope Community Center went into lockdown as authorities searched for the suspect. Police have yet to provide a description of the perpetrator.

The shooter fled the scene, prompting a continued search by law enforcement to apprehend the individual responsible for the deadly incident.
