Man Arrested in Pasadena for Setting off 150 Explosions Over Two Years

Pasadena, California – Authorities in Pasadena, California, have apprehended a 63-year-old man believed to be responsible for a series of over 150 unidentified explosions that have plagued the area for nearly two years. Art Leon Berian was taken into custody last Thursday and is facing three felony charges of possessing explosives with the intent to cause harm or intimidate others. Bail has been set at $1.5 million.

Upon observing a related explosion during their investigation, detectives moved swiftly to apprehend Berian as he attempted to flee the scene in his 2013 BMW. Evidence related to the explosion was collected from his vehicle, leading to his arrest.

Fortunately, there have been no reports of injuries resulting from the explosions.
