Father Reveals Text Message Battle Leading Up to Teenager’s Brutal Attack Outside Missouri School

St. Louis, Missouri – A teenager who was brutally beaten outside a Missouri school is recovering after sustaining severe injuries in the attack. Kaylee Gain, 16, suffered a skull fracture and bleeding on the brain after a violent altercation near Hazelwood East High School on March 8th. The incident gained widespread attention after footage of the assault circulated on social media.

In the aftermath of the attack, Kaylee’s father revealed text messages exchanged between his daughter and the alleged attacker leading up to the violent confrontation. The messages indicated that both teenagers had agreed to meet and settle their dispute through physical violence.

Despite the nature of the altercation, Kaylee’s father emphasized that it was his daughter who suffered serious injuries and nearly lost her life. He expressed hope that the justice system would hold the responsible parties accountable for the harm inflicted on Kaylee.

Following the incident, a 15-year-old girl was arrested and is now facing assault charges. In the midst of the legal proceedings, the teenager’s aunt sparked controversy by setting up a petition calling for leniency in the charges, claiming that the girl was defending herself from harassment and bullying.

After spending weeks in critical condition in the hospital, Kaylee was eventually able to breathe on her own and was transferred out of the intensive care unit on March 22nd. She is currently undergoing speech and movement therapy sessions to aid in her recovery.

Despite showing signs of improvement, Kaylee still struggles with memory loss related to the events leading up to the assault. Her family has confirmed that she was involved in a previous altercation the day before the attack, resulting in suspension for both parties involved.

As the legal process unfolds, Kaylee’s family remains hopeful for justice and a full recovery for the teenager. The incident serves as a reminder of the consequences of violence and the importance of resolving conflicts peacefully to prevent such tragic outcomes in the future.
