Elderly Woman Violently Assaulted in Louisville Home Invasion: Suspect Sketch Released by LMPD

Louisville, Kentucky – Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) has unveiled a new sketch of a suspected perpetrator involved in a violent home invasion and rape that occurred in Hurstbourne Acres two weeks ago. The incident took place on April 17, when an elderly woman was viciously assaulted after opening her door in the middle of the afternoon. Following the assault, the man stole some of the woman’s belongings before fleeing the scene.

Described as a 5’10” Black man with a slender build and short black hair, the suspect remains at large. The LMPD’s Sex Crimes Unit (OSPI) released the sketch of the alleged suspect, urging the community to come forward with any information that may help identify him.

Authorities reported that the suspect was last seen wearing a black shirt, along with either jeans or blue pants. After the attack, he is believed to have escaped on foot in the neighborhood.
