SAN LEANDRO, Calif. – A shooting in unincorporated San Leandro on Friday night left one woman dead and a man injured, according to the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office. The incident occurred shortly before 10 p.m. when sheriff’s detectives, San Leandro police, and paramedics responded to a report of a person in the roadway at East 14th Street near 151st Avenue.
Upon arrival, authorities found a 47-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman with mobility impairment suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were treated at the scene and transported to a local hospital, but unfortunately, the woman succumbed to her injuries.
