Two Men Fatally Shot in Miami Neighborhood, Authorities Seek Information

Miami, Florida – Two men were tragically shot and killed in a Miami neighborhood. The victims, Mackenson Paul Jr. and Rasaad Sawyer, lost their lives in a shooting that occurred in the area of Northwest 55th Street and Northwest 10th Avenue in Model City on Wednesday afternoon.

Upon arrival at the scene, authorities discovered one individual who had succumbed to their injuries. Additionally, two other individuals who had sustained gunshot wounds drove themselves to a nearby police station for help. Unfortunately, one of those victims passed away at the hospital, while the third victim remains in stable condition.

Miami Police Captain Freddie Cruz emphasized the urgency of the situation, stating, “This happened in broad daylight in the middle of the afternoon. This is a moment when we’re asking the community to please come forward if you saw something or know something to help us.”
