Two Dead, One Injured in Late-Night Shooting at Hartford Party, Police Investigating Multiple Shooters

Hartford, Connecticut – Two individuals lost their lives, and one person sustained injuries in a shooting at a late-night gathering in Hartford. Police responded to a Shotspotter activation call at 641 Garden St. around 5 a.m. on Saturday. Upon arrival, officers discovered two victims deceased at the scene, while a third victim was taken to St. Francis Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, as stated by Lt. Aaron Boisvert, spokesperson for the Hartford Police Department.

Authorities suspect that a dispute broke out in the basement of a private residence, leading to the gunfire. According to Boisvert, it is believed that two different individuals were responsible for the shootings, with one of them fatally shooting a victim, and the other fatally shooting the initial suspect. The second shooter remained at the scene and is reportedly cooperating fully with the police.

The Hartford Police Department is currently conducting an active investigation, with officers planning to revisit the property with a search warrant to gather evidence. Boisvert also indicated that it is still unknown whether there is any surveillance camera footage available for review.
