Indore, India – Tragedy struck in Indore as a youth carried out a shooting inside a temple, resulting in the deaths of two college students. The authorities are currently probing the incident, with suspicions pointing towards a potential love triangle as the motive behind the attack.
The victims were identified as 22-year-old Sneha Jat and 25-year-old Deepak Jat, who were fatally shot by the 26-year-old assailant, Abhishek Yadav, who then turned the gun on himself. Reports indicate that the trio had engaged in a prayer session together before the violent episode unfolded.
According to additional commissioner Amit Singh, initial investigations suggest that the shooting may have stemmed from a complicated romantic entanglement. Authorities are diligently working to unravel the events leading up to the tragic murders.
Sneha’s father had dropped her off at college, where she subsequently met with Deepak. It is believed that Abhishek contacted Sneha, instructing her to meet him at the temple. Accompanied by Deepak on a scooter, the pair found themselves in a terrifying situation as Abhishek brandished a pistol and fatally shot them in the head.
In a desperate attempt to escape, Sneha and Deepak tried to flee from the gunman, but their efforts were in vain. Shortly after the shooting, Abhishek took his own life in the temple’s parking lot, leaving behind a scene of devastation and sorrow in the community.
