Harda, Madhya Pradesh – A tragic incident unfolded in Harda town of Madhya Pradesh as a fire broke out in a firecracker factory, resulting in the death of six individuals and leaving 60 others injured. The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, has taken immediate action by speaking to officials and seeking details of the incident.
Reports indicate that a number of people are feared to be trapped in and around the factory. Videos of the fire and intermittent explosions surfaced on social media, depicting the chaotic scene as people attempted to flee from the danger. According to Harda Collector Rishi Garg, three people were killed and 40 others were injured in the blaze at the crackers unit.
In response to the tragedy, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav directed minister Uday Pratap Singh, Additional Chief Secretary Ajit Kesari, and Director General Home Guard Arvind Kumar to rush to Harda by helicopter. Furthermore, burn units at hospitals in Indore, Bhopal, and the AIIMS in the state capital were instructed to make necessary arrangements for any emergency. Fire brigades from Indore and Bhopal were also dispatched to tackle the blaze.
