Poplar Grove, Arkansas — A shooting early Saturday morning has left one man dead and another injured in the small community of Poplar Grove, according to a statement from the Arkansas State Police.
Authorities have charged 41-year-old Decorick Farr of Poplar Grove with first-degree murder following the incident, which took place around 2:15 a.m. in the 300 block of Phillips County Road 113. The victim, identified as 38-year-old William “Red” Henderson, was found at the scene and later pronounced dead at the Helena Regional Medical Center. Another individual, a 47-year-old man whose name has not been released, was also located and taken to a nearby hospital, where he is in stable condition.
