TATTNALL COUNTY, Ga. — A tragic incident in southern Georgia has left four individuals dead in what authorities are investigating as a potential murder-suicide. The Tattnall County Sheriff’s Office reported the gruesome scene Saturday night after responding to a 911 call concerning gunfire.
The victims, identified by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, include three members of the Torres family: 51-year-old Veronica Quevedo Torres, 24-year-old Leslie Johana Marrufo Torres, and 18-year-old Edilberto “Eddie” Marin-Torres. Authorities believe one of the deceased females may have been the perpetrator of the violent act, while the fourth individual, 42-year-old Octavia Chihuahua Castro, was found with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Deputies arrived at the home around 11:30 p.m. following reports of shots fired.
