Atlanta, Georgia – The recent salmonella outbreak linked to cantaloupe has come to an end, according to the Centers for Disease Control’s announcement on Friday. Over 400 individuals across 44 states fell ill as a result of the tainted cantaloupe, with 158 requiring hospitalization and six tragic fatalities.
