FALLS TOWNSHIP, Pa. – Authorities in Falls Township, Pennsylvania, have apprehended a man suspected of killing three individuals in a violent rampage that unfolded on a Saturday morning. The incident began when Falls Township police received reports of a shooting on Viewpoint Lane just before 9 a.m.
The suspect, Andre Gordon Jr., 26, reportedly forced his way into a home, fatally shooting two people before fleeing in a stolen vehicle that had been carjacked earlier in Trenton. The victims have been identified as his 52-year-old stepmother, Karen Gordon, and 13-year-old sister, Kera Gordon. Three others, including a minor, managed to hide inside the home.
Gordon then proceeded to another residence on Edgewood Lane at around 9 a.m., where he forced his way in and fatally shot 25-year-old Taylor Daniel – the mother of his children. Four individuals were also in the home, with one sustaining injuries after being struck by Gordon with a rifle.
Afterward, Gordon carjacked a male driver at gunpoint in Morrisville and fled in the stolen vehicle. The car was later found unoccupied in Trenton, leading SWAT teams to converge on a nearby residence to search for Gordon. He was eventually taken into custody around 5 p.m.
Authorities believe Gordon had ties to Trenton and the home surrounded by police. It is believed that he knew all the victims he fatally shot and that he is currently homeless. Police could not yet determine a motive for the attacks.
The shelter-in-place order issued in Falls Township was lifted by mid-afternoon, allowing residents to move freely again. Governor Josh Shapiro directed state police to provide assistance to local law enforcement in the aftermath of the violent incidents.
The cancellation of the Bucks County St. Patrick’s Day Parade and temporary closures of local businesses were also consequences of the unfolding events. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are working to piece together the sequence of events leading up to Gordon’s arrest.
