Police Seek Help in Solving Elderly Woman’s Murder

DALLAS, TX – Authorities in Dallas are seeking the public’s help in identifying a group of masked individuals involved in a violent incident that left an elderly, disabled woman dead. Surveillance footage released by the police shows the suspects exiting a dark gray Ford Escape before quickly returning to the vehicle after allegedly breaking into the woman’s apartment and opening fire.

Alice Fisher, 57, had just returned from a hospital stay and was sitting in her recliner when the attack occurred. The shooting took place on January 22, shortly after 9 p.m., at Kingsbridge Crossing Apartments, a property managed by the Dallas Housing Authority. Family members and police are puzzled over the motive, as Fisher had no known enemies and led a quiet life.

The footage captures three armed individuals, all wearing masks, as they exit the SUV. They are described as slim-framed, and the vehicle, a Ford Escape, is missing its radio antenna. Police believe the suspects mistakenly entered Fisher’s apartment, possibly targeting the wrong location.

Detective Joshua Conklin is urging anyone with information to come forward, highlighting that the suspects did not take anything from the apartment. The case has left the community on edge, with residents fearing for their safety until the perpetrators are caught.

Fisher’s family is devastated, describing her as a harmless woman who loved her family deeply. They are pleading for justice and hoping the release of the surveillance video will lead to new leads in the case.

The Dallas Police Department is working diligently to solve this heinous crime, exploring all potential motives and following up on any tips received. They emphasize that Fisher had no ties to criminal activity, making the shooting all the more baffling.

Authorities encourage anyone who recognizes the vehicle or suspects to contact Crime Stoppers. A reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment. The community is urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity that could assist in apprehending those responsible for Fisher’s tragic death.
