West Palm Beach, Florida – Police are currently on the lookout for the assailant who fatally shot a 20-year-old man in what authorities believe to be a targeted ambush outside a residence in West Palm Beach this week. The victim has been identified as Brandon Gladston Watson, a resident of Palm Beach County.
Authorities stated that they responded to a 911 call at around 11:15 p.m. on Wednesday, January 31 on the 800 block of Ninth Street, near Division Avenue, where they discovered Watson lying in the street. He was subsequently transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
An extensive investigation of the crime scene led to the collection of multiple bullet shells and the interview of witnesses, all of which have led investigators to conclude that the shooting was a targeted attack. However, no arrests have been made as the shooter remains at large.
