Orlando, FL — A teenager is in custody following a deadly shooting incident earlier this month which involved a motorist near a popular local park in Orlando, authorities said.
The Orlando Police Department reported that the arrest occurred after a male driver was fatally shot around 11:30 p.m. on July 14, at the intersection of Lawne Boulevard and Lake Lawne Avenue, situated close to Lake Lawne Park. Following the shooting, the victim’s vehicle crashed, leading to his death at the scene.
The identity of the teen arrested in connection to the shooting has not been released due to his age. The police, however, have booked him into juvenile detention as the investigation continues.
