Mother Increases Reward for Information on Clayton County Teen’s Murder

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. – The Clayton County Sheriff Levon Allen is on a mission to find justice for 19-year-old Kiyre Allen, who was tragically murdered in a mass shooting in August 2022. The incident occurred outside the Parks at Leeds off of Riverdale Road, where five individuals were shot, including Kiyre, who had recently graduated from Creekside High School.

Sheriff Allen recently attended an event organized by Catrice called “Shoot Hoops, Not Guns,” aimed at providing a safe and enjoyable outlet for the youth in the community. During the event, Sheriff Allen not only participated as a coach in the basketball game but also made a promise to Catrice to join the pursuit of finding her son’s killer.

In response to the tragedy, Kiyre’s family has raised a $25,000 reward for any information leading to the apprehension of the suspect.
