WALLKILL, N.Y. — An Orange County man who contracted a killer to murder his neighbor in a brutal backyard attack has been convicted, officials said. The individual hired for the murder, a 24-year-old named Damante Stansberry, has been sentenced to 18 years in prison after pleading guilty.

Prosecutors stated that Lowe offered Stansberry $15,000 to carry out the murder. On October 30, 2022, seizing an opportune moment as the neighbor was busy with fence repairs in his backyard, Stansberry executed the plan.
