CONCORD, Calif. — In the pre-dawn hours of Monday in Concord, California, a 40-year-old man was fatally shot and authorities are now on the hunt for the assailant, city police confirmed. According to the Concord Police Department, officers who were patrolling the area reported hearing gunshots at approximately the same time that multiple emergency calls came into the department about gunfire heard in that vicinity.
