AUGUSTA, Ga. — Authorities in Augusta are actively searching for two suspects linked to a deadly shooting incident that occurred Tuesday afternoon on Walker Street, which resulted in the death of one man. The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office has identified the suspects as 19-year-old Damien Key and 20-year-old Trayvone Cummings.
Key is described as approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, sporting black hair and brown eyes, and weighs around 125 pounds. Cummings shares similar physical characteristics, standing about 5 feet 3 inches, with black hair, brown eyes, and also weighs 125 pounds.
Both men are presently facing charges of murder and illegal possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. According to law enforcement officials, Key and Cummings are known to frequent the Harrisburg neighborhood close to where the incident occurred. The authorities have warned that both suspects should be considered armed and dangerous.
