Washington, D.C. police are actively searching for a suspect following a tragic mass shooting that resulted in the deaths of two individuals and left five others injured early Sunday morning.
The incident occurred at the intersection of 7th and P Streets in the northwest part of the city, close to downtown, according to Executive Assistant Chief Jeffrey Carroll of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department.
