The incident took place during an excavation project at a Mobil gas station on South Federal Highway. Upon arrival at the scene, firefighters discovered a man in his 30s lying unresponsive on the ground, with machinery nearby engulfed in flames. The injured man, who sustained second- and third-degree burns on over half of his body, received immediate treatment at the scene before being transported to Aventura Medical Center in Miami-Dade County for further care.
