Atlanta, Georgia – Diante Reynolds, a man accused in the murder of 24-year-old Allahnia Lenoir, is set to appear in court on Thursday to request bond after spending about a year and a half in custody at the Fulton County Jail. Reynolds, along with another man, is facing charges related to Lenoir’s murder and the concealment of her death.
According to court documents, Reynolds and the other suspect allegedly provided Lenoir with an opiate and failed to seek help when she was in distress. Reynolds is preparing to make his case for bond before a Fulton County judge.
Lenoir was last seen on July 31, 2022, entering an apartment complex on Peachtree Street in Midtown Atlanta with a friend. Months later, Atlanta police announced that Lenoir had been killed inside an apartment on Peachtree Street and that her body had been moved.
Authorities identified Reynolds and Steven Oboite as suspects in the case. Oboite, however, has been on the run since being named a suspect. Despite extensive efforts by law enforcement, Lenoir’s body has not been located.
In January 2023, Nicholas Henrickson was indicted by a grand jury for his involvement in assisting the two suspected killers in disposing of Lenoir’s body. Henrickson remains in jail after being denied bond multiple times.
Family members of Lenoir have offered a $25,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest of Oboite. Lenoir’s mother emphasized the importance of getting justice for her daughter and ensuring that those involved in her death are held accountable.
