BUCKSNORT, Tenn. — The search for missing individuals continues following a devastating explosion at an explosives facility in rural Tennessee that left at least 16 people dead. Humphreys County Sheriff Chris Davis fought back tears during a press conference, urging the community to remember the families affected by this tragedy.
The explosion occurred around 7:45 a.m. at Accurate Energetic Systems, a facility known for manufacturing and handling explosives. Initially, there were reports of individuals unaccounted for; however, investigators later confirmed that three people had been found safe, not present on-site at the time of the explosion. The sheriff indicated that efforts were ongoing to ascertain the total number of individuals who were inside the facility when the blast occurred.
