Pink and blue balloons were released into the sky as loved ones gathered to remember Xuong Le, his wife Britni McLaughlin-Le, and their three children. All five family members lost their lives in the massive fire that consumed their home on Lewis Avenue in East Lansdowne.
During the vigil, Britni McLaughlin-Le’s father, John McLaughlin, shared about his daughter’s life, revealing that she and Xuong had been married for 17 years. Authorities believe Xuong Le’s brother, Canh Le, was the shooter in this tragic incident. Canh Le not only took the lives of the family members but also shot and injured two police officers before the house was engulfed by flames.

NaKayla’s friends emphasize that she will never be forgotten and describe her as an amazing girl, a talented dancer, and an incredible friend.
