CONWAY, ARKANSAS – Authorities in Conway, Arkansas responded to a “minor” plane crash on Wednesday, January 31. The crash occurred just southwest of the Conway Municipal Airport at Cantrell Field. Thankfully, no injuries were reported from the incident.
The Conway Police Department announced that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has been notified and will be arriving at the crash site to conduct a thorough investigation. As a result, traffic surrounding the JW and Pat Brown Boulevard in the vicinity of the crash has been temporarily closed until the FAA arrives to begin their investigation, the police said around 6:30 p.m.
