Authorities were called to the scene shortly after 10 p.m., responding to reports of gunfire near 600 E. Camellia Drive. When they arrived, chaos ensued as attendees fled the residence.
Investigators discovered evidence of the shooting, including a firearm located on the street. The police learned that the teenager had been shot and was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. “This is a very peaceful community, and we are all in disbelief,” said Steven Zhang, a neighbor who expressed his shock over the incident.
